Being kind to ourselves and one another: Mental Health Awareness Week

Mental Health Awareness Week takes place next week from 18-24 May 2020. The theme is kindness. To support all our people, during this week we have arranged a host of activities to share conversations and help us all to focus on our mental health and wellbeing.

Join a Panel Discussion with Counsellor and Personal Trainer Carly Turner who shares hints and tips of how we can all be kind to ourselves, and the importance of taking the time to focus on our physical wellbeing.

Wednesday 20 May 2020 from 14h00 – 14h30 (GMT): How kindness has shaped me

Preston Taylor, Chairman of Spectrum, our LGBTQ+ Network shares how kindness has shaped his life, the importance of mental health and wellbeing and how we should be sensitive and kind to others who face challenges that may be very different to our own.

Thursday, 21 May 2020 from 10h00 – 10h30 (GMT): How well does your Garden grow?

Join Clare Cooper and members of the Corby Gardeners Club who will share hints and tips and talk about the healing qualities of gardening and how it can be a path to a healthier lifestyle.
